Summer Days

  This is how we spend hot summer days in the Village :-)  Popsicle's, swimming pools, great friends, and irreplaceable memories! 

CHASE!

Our sweet baby boy was born on February 12, 2012, at 4:08 a.m., was 7lbs. 15oz., and 20 inches.  He came fast and furious! Peyton came into my room around 2 to ask me to turn the bathroom light on for him to go potty (which is odd since he never had before and wore a pull-up to bed). After I helped Peyton and got back in bed I could not get comfortable, I had gone days with braxton hicks and thought nothing of it. They continued and were in my back so I filled the tub and got in. I was in the tub for probably 2 minutes before I jumped out, woke Nolan, and started shoving last minute things into a bag. I knew that these weren't going away. We got in the car and headed to the hospital it took about 5 minutes to get there. By the time we arrived I made Nolan drop me off and go park the car. I headed up to OB Emergency and of course they took what seemed like forever and was probably more like 5 minutes..It was around 2:45 I made Nolan go get them to come and check me. The midwife checked me and I was at an 8! I was shocked, I was certain they would say a 3... They immediately wheeled me into labor and delivery where the anesthesiologist was waiting completely ready they put in my IV and got the epidural in it took probably 10 minutes it was so quick and I was very grateful. I wanted my epidural to take effect so pushing didn't hurt and they had asked if I wanted to wait for my doctor to arrive she was about 10-15 minutes out. I wasn't in pain so I agreed. When she got there she broke my water and with 3 pushes Chase was here! It was such an amazing experience I can honestly say this time I enjoyed childbirth and wasn't completely traumatized afterward!
    Chase is such an amazing baby. He quickly caught on with nursing and it has never been a problem for us. Peyton is a great big brother. He kisses and loves on him, it is amazing how gentle he is with him and realizes that he is a baby and can't play yet. However, when Peyton came to the hospital to meet him for the first time he brought 2 cars so that Chase could play with one, it was the sweetest thing. I am very in love with my sweet little boys and cannot wait to watch them grow, play and learn together. Peyton has taken on the big brother roll so well he's very protective of Chase and lets his friends know if they are to close, or informs them they can't touch his toys or his face because it will make him sick! I love them so much!
   Here are some pictures of them..the last one is of Chase currently he is almost 4 months old.  Crazy how fast time goes. At his 2 month he was just shy of 24 inches and was 14lbs. 10oz.! He is a big boy!

     Nolan is a great dad and husband. He never has a problem doing anything and everything I ask. He is extremely busy and always makes time for us. He just finished up his 3rd year of school so only one more left!! He also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam so he can graduate! He is currently working for Cementation and is gone a lot. But he provides for our family so I can stay home with our sweet babies. I seriously LOVE him he does so much and always has for our family, and it gets me that I have honestly never heard him complain once about going to school and having to work. He has and amazing strength and is honestly the glue that keeps our family together.

It's about time..

I know I am completely horrible at updating our blog. Let me just say it doesn't help that we only have one computer either. I realize it has been a whole year since I last wrote so if you don't have a Facebook, which I'm sure most people that read this do, the past year has been eventful-a miscarriage, summer in Idaho (one of the worst experiences of my life) ha okay maybe that's a little dramatic I didn't last very long before I came back to our apartment in Salt Lake, and now a new pregnancy that's thankfully 2/3 of the way over.

Peyton is getting so smart he can sing his ABC's pick out Big A little a and on. It blows my mind how much he has came in a year. He can count to ten, loves books, football, baseball, cars, cowboys, trains, and pretty much anything else little boys like. He is very excited to have a new baby BROTHER, and we are excited to welcome baby Chase to our family in February.

Nolan has been insanely busy with school trying his hardest to keep his scholarship which he can only have one A- if he wants to keep it another semester. He works so hard for our family and I realize how hard it is for him to be away from Peyton so much. He works for Cementation at Kennecott on Saturday's and Sunday's, so he really is rarely here. However, when he is it is so fun to watch him and Peyton play they are so entertaining and Nolan is such a good dad I know Peyton loves him and really enjoys the time they get to spend together.

Me...well nothing really I have just been taking care of Peyton and growing another baby I can't believe I am 26 weeks, I don't feel like it's already been that long. Nolan I know is enjoying my new found craving of pizza, going from only eating pizza maybe twice at home since we got married almost 3 years ago! To having it every week ha (he's really not deprived he gets to eat pizza on Thursday's at Mining Seminar). But I know he's enjoying having it at home.

We recently had our amazing friend Emmanuelle take our family pictures so I'll add some of those, she truly is amazing because Peyton just wanted to cry he wanted absolutely nothing to do with her and her camera! He's kind of a stinker!! Then maybe post again in a couple of days since Peyton is turning 3!!! I can't believe he is almost three he's been such a blessing in our life and we love him dearly. I really don't know how to work blogger so I guess all the pictures are at the top :) ENJOY!!

Peyton's 2nd Birthday!!

We just had a few friends over and celebrated Peyt's birthday it was fun and Peyt was so cute! I love the video of him blowing out the candle's and he gets frusrated and yells at them so cute!! (blogger won't let me upload it but I'll try later) :( I also have a million more pictures I could upload but blogger doesn't like me today.

Halloween

I know this is late but, better late than never. I can't find our camera so I had to wait tell this picture got sent to me from a halloween party we went to! This is Peyt as a cow and his best buddy T the frog :)

Great Book for Moms!

I have a friend that is reading this book and she said it was great. So I had my husband get it from the school library for me, I’m not very far into this book yet but it’s really good. Doing the exercises I can feel a difference and I’m hoping it helps me get rid of my “Mummy Tummy”. So if you’re curious about the book and you have a flabby belly you can’t get rid of you should check this book out!!

I think I have bragging rights. The other day Peyton and I were shopping at Target and we ran into L. Tom Perry. Pretty cool, yet so weird to see an apostle of god in regular clothes. We didn't talk but he did talk to Peyton any one with a 2 year old knows they say hi to everyone, anyway, I could feel the spirit standing that close and it was an unforgettable experience.
